Diagnostics

We will help you review how you produce your sound and how you record it. We will review your sound and voice production. We will check the quality of the capture, the recording space, and give you feedback and recommendations for a better product. The goal is to have a good capture as a starting point. After that, we can suggest improvements for a good capture. Once you have a good capture, you can focus on other aspects of production like mixing, mastering, and the use of plug-ins and additional devices. However, these final stages are irrelevant if the source is compromised or lacks the best possible quality. first, send me a sample of your recording. I will review it and give you feedback. Then, we can move on to the next sample.

 

For your home studio,

Home studio advisory

Describe the space through photographs or videos, show me the equipment you are using, and send a sample of your recording. This will help improve your home studio, and I will provide recommendations for soundproofing and sound treatment. We will explore efficient and economical solutions for your particular case.

Mix and master advisory

 In the mixing and mastering advisory, I will teach you how to polish your sound and obtain a better product based on a good capture. You will learn how to listen to specific frequencies and identify mistakes or defects in recordings for quick problem-solving. For mastering, I will teach you compression, EQ, and their use. 

Process, Production and work flow advisory

Additionally, I will help you develop your production abilities, which involve planning, scheduling, and following up on tasks for long-term or medium-term production. I will assist you in using tools to organize your workflow, so you can focus on the creative part without feeling overwhelmed. We will utilize spreadsheets, calendars, and free internet tools for project follow-up. 

Use of AI and new technologies

We will also explore the use of AI and new technologies to reduce workload by delegating tasks to computers and AI systems, such as proofreading and sound cleaning appliances. 

Webinars: ACX compliance, master, eq, compression, limiting

Lastly, I will schedule regular webinars covering topics like mastering for ACX (Author's Republic) or other distributors, as well as production aspects like equalization, editing, and other tips to enhance your product.
