Introduction:

We provide high-quality music learning resources for remote students, offering a comprehensive methodology that combines autonomous learning through audiovisual resources with interactive sessions conducted via platforms such as Skype or Zoom.

 Our audiovisual resources consist of YouTube videos and PDF documents that provide valuable information and practical exercises. Students have the flexibility to review these resources at their own pace and according to their availability.

 The interactive sessions are live classes scheduled at convenient times, where students' progress is evaluated, and constructive feedback, observations, corrections, and suggestions are provided.

Our focus is on ensuring that students truly understand what they are learning. While there are countless online videos demonstrating how to play various songs and techniques, we recognize that a surplus of information can be overwhelming if not applied effectively.

Unlike many resources available, we provide a dedicated approach to deep learning in music. We emphasize the integration of data such as scales, structures, notes, and codes, with their abstract, sound, and emotional meaning within musical expressions.

We believe it is crucial for students to comprehend the structural components of what they learn and be able to apply them to their artistic endeavors. Knowing chords, scales, and music theory is useless unless one can effectively use them in a given musical context.

 

Approaching Music as a Game:

We view music as a form of play. In English, the word "play" is used to describe instrument execution, and in French, "jouer" is employed. Both terms imply that playing music is a fundamental action. Our classes aim to teach students how to play their instruments, much like learning to play soccer or any other sport. We cover basic rules, techniques, styles, and skill levels. Regardless of proficiency, nurturing creativity and personal expression is essential.

 

Unleashing Creativity:

Music provides a platform for expressing what lies within each student. The act of expressing oneself in response to external stimuli is a creative endeavor. By engaging students' intuition, emotions, and their ability to communicate through music, we help activate their innate creative capacity. We believe that children often exhibit creativity when allowed to explore and express themselves freely. However, as individuals grow, some may suppress or overlook their creative potential due to repetitive and monotonous activities. Through our music program, we aim to reignite and enhance their natural creative abilities.
